Hope Gillerman - Alexander Technique Instructor
Hope Gillerman has been a certified Alexander Technique teacher for over 20 years. She brings her 17 years of experience as a professional dancer and choreographer to her work as a posture and movement expert. She received her training as an Alexander Technique teacher at the American Center for the Alexander Technique and completed post-graduate training at the Rivka Cohen School for the Alexander Technique. She is currently assistant director of the AmSAT-certified Teacher Training Program at the Manhattan Center for the Alexander Technique and has been on the faculty of two other AmSAT-certfied programs: The Rivka Cohen School for the Alexander Technique and The Alexander Technique Training Center. She maintains a full-time, private practice in New York City`s Union Square in lower Manhattan and shares her office with a Licensed Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbologist: Sheila McLaughlin. She offers corporate training seminars in body-oriented stress management and injury prevention at the computer.
