Please allow 90 minutes for all comprehensive and routine eye exams. Our ophthalmic technician will take a history and perform preliminary testing. Drops to dilate the pupil will be used, which can take up to 20 minutes to effectively allow a view of the retina. Your vision will be blurred, especially when viewing work close-up. If you are concerned about driving under these circumstances, please have someone drive you. Dilated eyes will be sensitive to light. Sunglasses will make your eyes more comfortable.
Appointments
Office hours are from 8:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. We try to schedule work-ins at the end of the day, so that regularly scheduled patients are not kept waiting more than absolutely necessary. we realize your time is valuable, so our schedules are reviewed daily to reduce waiting time.
Please feel free to call the office if you have any questions regarding your condition, medication, or treatment. Our assistants are specially trained to answer your questions, arrange prescription refills, etc. If it is necessary, the doctor will return your call at the end of office hours. If this is not satisfactory, please let our staff know.
