Joyce Marley is a licensed acupuncturist that provides acupuncture therapy in New Hartford, NY. She writes alternative health articles about acupuncture and Oriental medicine.

During her course of study, Joyce had the opportunity to intern under the direction of Chinese professors/doctors who came to this country from Beijing and Shandong Medical Universities in China. She graduated with honors in May of 2004, earning a Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine. She received the designation of Diplomat status in both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and
Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) in 2004 after passing the National Board exams for each of those disciplines.
New York State granted Joyce a license to practice acupuncture in June of 2004 at which time she set up practice at her current location in New Hartford, New York.
Joyce continues to expand her knowledge in the field of Oriental medicine by attending seminars around the country. She has extensively studied the
Balance Method theories of Dr. Richard Tan, a Taiwanese acupuncturist from San Diego, California. She is currently studying Master Tung’s system of acupuncture points in Toronto, Canada with Dr. Palden Carson – a first generation apprentice of Master Tung.
