Art & Design Studio of Rockland
Art & Design Studio of Rockland teaches fine art, illustration, computer art, fashion design, cartooning, clay sculpture and graphic design. We have art classes for children, teens and adults and offer these classes Monday through Sunday, days and evenings.
Our instruction focuses on technique training. Instructors guide students through their projects from concept to completion. They work with each student on an individual basis by providing them with their own specific instruction. Instructors demonstrate these techniques to the student on a separate piece of paper and never directly on a student`s artwork.
With suggestions from the instructor, students can choose a subject and medium to study for each project. We teach a variety of fine art styles - from Photo Realism to Impressionism and subject matter, such as portraiture, landscape, figures, wildlife, still life, superheros, and cartoon characters to name a few. Oils, acrylics, watercolors, pastels,pencil, charcoal, clay and computer are the more popular mediums we teach. Students work at their own pace and level. This allows for a relaxing, non-competitive environment.
Graphic design and computer art are part of our general art classes. Students can work on projects, such as logo design, advertisements, illustration, CD covers, posters, book covers and packaging. Students will be taught how to create fine art, illustrations, cartoons and superheros using the most amazing computer software. Students` computer projects are printed with our photo quality, full color printer.
Students can enroll in single or double classes. We enroll only 5 -13 students in each class to enable them to obtain individualized attention from our instructors. Instructors were selected based on their impressive credentials and their artistic ability, and, most importantly, their exceptional ability to relate to others.
