AGA has designed numerous offices, clinics and meetings facilities for corporations and not-for-profits institutions. Our work is based on undertaking extensive research of existing facilities, needs for the future, and the population to be served. Using this information as its basis, AGA works together with our clients to develop the projects program delineating specific spatial and programmatic requirements.
We believe that an architect can and should be versed in every aspect of a project. At AGA, we do the necessary research and then design based on knowledge of specific situations. Our solutions are neither imitative nor repetitious because circumstances never are; rather, they are creative and innovative for each of our clients.
AGA has participated in all the components required for the production of housing, including feasibility studies, programming, construction documents and construction observation. AGA has designed housing consisting of both new and renovated projects. Work extends from new mid-rise concrete plank buildings to gut rehabilitation of large structures to renovations of historic structures.
AGA has a multi-disciplinary approach that is particularly evident in our store design work, which ranges from freestanding buildings to strip and mall locations to tight sites in New York City. Given the breadth of our designers, AGA coordinates the work of specialty consultants such as graphic and industrial designers, acoustical engineers and fabricators to create retail environments that increase sales and make shopping an enjoyable experience.
AGA has completed assessment and feasibility studies as well as master plans for government agencies, not-for-profits and the private sector. The studies where AGA coordinates often a large team of consultants include zoning and neighborhood analyses, systems and structural evaluations, environmental studies, code reviews and the range of issues relevant to a particular project. AGA`s recommendations help to determine the viability of a project and to secure funding.
