Wee-Folk Child Care Centre
Wee-Folk Child Care Centre offers a mixture of academic skill workshops with art, music, theatre, sports and games to enhance your child's intellectual, physical and social development. Social skills, small groups and separate cheerful classrooms are part of our safe and nuturing environment.
Our school is located on 18 acres of matured treed landscaped grounds at The Gateway Executive Building.
Our outside play area has over 8,000 square feet of both fenced-in play yard and grounds for baseball, soccer and volleyball. we are very fortunate to have access to the New York State Woodlawn Beach.
Your child is entitled to tap and jazz dancing lessons included with your tuition.
Parents are free to visit with office approval during our daily activities. The best times are during lunchtime or when guest artists perform in our marvelous in-house children's theatre.
Wee-Folk Early Learning Program
A copywritten 20-40 step workshop-way method is taught. Both nursery school and pre-k (ages 3 and 4 years of age) learn the programs simultaneously.
Activities
Scheduled daily activities, age-appropriate with naps and quiet time after lunch.
Class Size
Small classes to build self-esteem and imagination. Clean, cheerful classrooms separated to care for small groups of children.
Meals
Nutritious meals and snacks including seasonal fruits and vegetables, homemade breads and desserts.
Involvement
Family involvement through special events and theatrical productions.
Special Programs
Field trips, guest artists, community helpers come to visit.
Federally Funded Food Subsidy
Department of Social Services contracts accepted.
Professional Children's Theatre
Dance, singing, dramatic play, costumes and puppets!
After-School Summer Camp
Wee-Folk Child Care Centre cares about your child's growth and offers after-school programs for children 5-12 years of age. There are five working computer stations for education and games. Other activities include karoike dance pad with interaction camera which incourages exercise! Call us at
